Job Title: Secondary Maths Tutor Location:

Temporary, Part-Time hours
£20 - £30 per hour- Provide one-on-one tutoring in secondary level mathematics
- Create individualised lesson plans based on student's specific needs
- Assist students in understanding complex mathematical concepts
- Track student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Experience teaching secondary level mathematics
- Knowledge of the UK national curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is desirable
- At least 2 years of experience teaching secondary level mathematics
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Strong grasp of secondary level mathematics concepts
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficient in using technology to enhance learning
- Master's degree in Mathematics Education or related field
- Additional certifications in special education or teaching students with SEN
- Part-time hours, temporary position
- Work may involve evenings or weekends to accommodate student schedules
- Location may vary based on student needs
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
