The team comprises a number of skilled lawyers, from associates to partners, many of whom have been with the firm for a long time. Career progression within this team is excellent; for example, a lawyer who joined as an NQ is now a managing associate with only 5 years’ PQE.
The firm does not require prior experience in lending, as it is willing to retrain and help you grow a career in a niche area of law. The firm describes this role as more akin to running a business, rather than the traditional practice areas where billing hours to clients is the primary focus.If you're looking to transition out of conveyancing, this is the role for you!
As the new Conveyancing Solicitor your quality lending caseload will include:
- Secured Lending
- Acquisitions & Disposals
- Property Development
- Landlord & Tenant work
- Portfolio Management
As the ideal Lending Solicitor candidate, you must be:
- Experienced in conveyancing and have an interest in transitioning
- An NQ-2 years’ PQE Solicitor
