• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual cost closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Scrutinise financial data to identify potential savings and areas of improvement.
• Develop cost-effective strategies and action plans.
• Collaborate with financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Ensure cost reduction without compromising quality or service.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and regulations.
• Implement cost standards for products and services.
• Review purchase orders and invoices.
• Prepare and present cost reports to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Cost Controller should have:

• Professional accountancy qualification, Eg, ICAS, ACCA, CIMA, etc
• Proficiency in financial software.
• Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A thorough understanding of financial regulations and procedures.
• Experience in a similar role in the Financial Services industry.
