About Us:

We are a network of special schools dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to students with diverse needs. Our schools are committed to creating inclusive, nurturing environments where every student can thrive. We are currently seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Full-Time Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join our team on a long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering tailored educational programs.
  • Assist students with their learning activities, ensuring they are engaged and supported.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Support students with personal care needs, if required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting students with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic school environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or special needs support is desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of the unique challenges and rewards of working in a special school environment.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience to support students with varying needs and abilities.
  • Ability to follow individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt to the specific requirements of each student.
