We are looking for a well experienced candidate to support daily operations within the back sales department, supporting and collaborating mainly but not exclusively with sales and warehouse teams. This is a full-time position, working hours are 8.30am-4.30pm Monday – Thursday, 3.30pm Friday finish.

As the Sales Administrator your responsibilities will include:
  • Respond to customer enquiries for product information, availability, order status and pricing in a timely manner.
  • Assist with generating sales related documents including quotations, sales orders, product barcode tickets and all despatch documentation.
  • Oversee amendments to orders including variation to quantities and cancellations.
  • Consult with warehouse on daily priority despatch requirements.
  • With guidance from the sales and planning teams, communicate regarding order progress with customers and the sales team about the various order updates as soon as possible.
  • Update and monitor stock levels to ensure alignment with lead times predicted to customers.
  • Maintain customer records, updating contact information as required.
  • After-sales administration including resolving customer enquiries and/or discrepancies.
  • General ad hoc duties as required

To be successful in this Administrator position, it is essential that you possess previous experience in a sales support or administrative role with a sales focus. From a person specification, it is critical that you can demonstrate strong organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, high levels of attention to detail alongside first class communication skills, both written and verbal.

You will be proficient using Microsoft Office alongside Sage50 system. In this role you will work as part of a vibrant team and given the platform to work using your own initiative, use your strong critical thinking skills and prioritise your workload effectively.
