We are seeking a Maintenance Painterto join our team at HMP Altcourse.

Are you a skilled painter with a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining beautiful and functional spaces?

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Painter to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for preserving and enhancing the appearance of our facilities through high-quality painting and surface care. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will work on a variety of projects, ensuring that our buildings and equipment stay in top condition.

Experience and knowledge requirement for this role:

• You must always act within the rules and procedures laid out in Operational Instructions, Emergency Procedures, Personnel Policies and Code of Conduct.
• You will be Carries daily maintenance tasks and repair work as required and in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Ensures compliance with local contract.
• Assist with the cleaning/maintenance or exterior/interior surfaces of buildings.
• Reports any deviations or deficiencies with meeting the requirements of the contract.
• Remains aware of and works within the legislation of the Health and Safety at Work Act, with particular attention to the safe systems of work applicable to area of responsibility.
• You must have the ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
• You must ensure to stay calm in pressured and/ or stressful situations.
• Must be a good communicator.
