Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of high-stakes criminal defence matters for healthcare professionals.
• Draft meticulous submissions to regulatory bodies and prepare defences that could mean the difference between career survival or termination.
• Engage with counsel and expert witnesses to build robust, fact-based cases.
• Represent clients at hearings, tribunals, and inquests, ensuring the best possible outcome in every case.
• Work closely with senior fee earners and develop your skills in professional discipline and criminal defence.
• Stay on top of targets and KPIs while maintaining the highest standards of case preparation.

About You:

• A qualified solicitor with 3-6 years PQE (ideally with healthcare or criminal defence experience).
• A sharp legal mind with the ability to think on your feet, adapt, and navigate the pressures of fast-paced, high-risk cases.
• Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both written and oral.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail—every fact matters.
• Comfortable working independently but also collaborating as part of a highly skilled team.
