Physiotherapist (Band 6)

We are looking for a Locum Band 6 Physiotherapist to cover an assignment with the Ministry of Defence (MoD), at QEMCH Tidworth Medical Centre, in Tidworth, Wiltshire.

Hours:

37.5 hours per week
Monday - Thursday: 8 AM to 5 PM
Friday: 8 AM to 12 PM

Pay: Up to £30.78 per hour

Essential Requirements:

HCPC Registration
Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists
Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
Clinical experience in:

o Musculoskeletal disorders
o Sports injuries
o Orthopaedic conditions
o Mobilization and manipulation

2+ years of post-graduate clinical experience in MSK disorders
Previous experience in a physiotherapist band 6 role or equivalent

About the Role: The role involves working within the Armed Forces' rehabilitation system, which includes:

Primary Care Rehabilitation Facilities (PCRFs):

o Assessing and treating patients with musculoskeletal injuries
o Providing rehabilitation plans and exercise advice

Regional Rehabilitation Units (RRUs):

o Working in a multi-disciplinary team to assess and treat complex injuries
o Providing specialist opinions and treatment plans

Stanford Hall - Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC):

o Providing consultant-led rehabilitation services for patients with serious injuries

o Maximizing functional capability and quality of life

In essence, the Senior Physiotherapist will be responsible for:

Assessing and diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions
Developing and implementing treatment plans
Providing rehabilitation and exercise therapy
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals
Supporting patients' return to duty or civilian life
