Mental Health Support Assistant | Job summary:
- Working with children who have SEMH needs across different year groups who require additional help and support.
- Implement agreed work programmes to ensure the correct support is given.
- Ensuring that all children have a safe learning environment and are assisted in their learning and development.Mental Health Support Assistant | Job requirements:
- Obtained a minimum 2:1 degree (ideally in Psychology) from a Top 30 UK University.
- Previous experience working with children within a school setting.
- Aspirations to become a Psychologist/Therapist.
- Strong communication skills and patience.As a Mental Health Support Assistant, you can expect hands-on training as well as consistent support throughout the academic year from SEND specialists from around the school.
