Are you committed to supporting young people with complex mental health needs? Teaching Personnel are working with an excellent SEN School that caters to male pupils who display challenging behaviour, and we're looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join their team.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to male pupils with complex mental health needs, helping them manage challenging behaviours.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies to create a positive, structured environment.
  • Assist in delivering tailored educational and therapeutic interventions.
  • Work closely with teachers, support staff, and therapists to promote emotional resilience and personal development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young adults with challenging behaviour, ideally in an SEN setting.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • A proactive, empathetic approach with a passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

Role Details:

  • Behaviour Support Worker (in-class support, 1:1 and small group)
  • Annual Salary - £24,944 per annum
  • Location: Horsham
  • Own car and clean driving licence highly advantageous

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
