Job Duties:
- Provide one-to-one or small group tutoring sessions in mathematics
- Create individualised lesson plans to meet the specific needs of each student
- Assess student's progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in understanding mathematical concepts
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
- Teaching qualification or relevant tutoring experience
Experience:
Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours, flexible schedule
- Temporary position with the possibility of extension
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
