Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant - Chorley
Are you a qualified Teaching Assistant with experience working in the Early Years Foundation Stage? Do you hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, or are you working towards one? Randstad Education is currently seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants with experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage for schools in the Chorley area, with opportunities for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare resources and activities for the whole class, small groups, and 1:1 support.
- Provide feedback to pupils regarding progress and achievement under the teacher's guidance.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to organise appropriate activities.
- Liaise with other professionals such as teachers, TAs, and specialist support staff.
- Work closely with other LSAs and support staff.
- Provide support to classes, small groups, and on a one-to-one basis.
- Monitor and track the development of pupils and support their personal development and confidence.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working with young people.
- Comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
- Ability to engage with and build rapport with young people.
- Creative, proactive, and flexible in supporting style.
- Experience with SEN or knowledge of learning difficulties.
- TA qualification.
