Our client, a leading organisation in property services operating in Lancashire, is on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Building Surveyor to join their agile team! This is an exciting opportunity to lead a talented group of professionals while making a significant impact on housing quality and customer satisfaction.

• Leadership: Mentor and support team members in their professional growth, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
• Technical Expertise: Provide advice on building defects, conduct inspections, and develop effective remedial action plans.
• Project Management: Oversee building contracts from procurement to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Customer Focus: Maintain high-quality communication with customers, addressing their needs and resolving any concerns.

• Analyse building defects to identify trends and implement preventative maintenance strategies.
• Conduct surveys and prepare reports detailing findings and proposals for remedial actions.
• Collaborate with specialist consultants and contractors to enhance service delivery.
• Manage housing disrepair cases, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

• A relevant professional qualification (BSc Hons Building Surveying or equivalent).
• Membership in a professional body (e.g., MRICS or MCIOB) is desirable.
• Extensive experience in building surveying within the property services sector.
• Proven ability to manage building contracts effectively, with a focus on quality and performance.
• Strong analytic skills and knowledge of building pathology and construction methods.
• Full driving licence required.
• Great H&S knowledge regarding housing environment
