An established organisation with an international presence, my client is seeking an experienced Sales or Purchase Ledger Assistant to join them in the role of Accounts Assistant at their local office in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
Your new role
Reporting to and working closely with the Finance Manager and a small finance team, your responsibilities will include raising sales invoices, payment allocation, account reconciliations, credit control, customer and supplier query resolution, database maintenance and inbox management.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven accounts administration experience with knowledge of the sales and/or purchase ledger function, combined with good customer service and communication skills.
What you'll get in return
Starting salary £26500 - £27000
