The Role

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons that support the diverse needs of our students. This role requires patience, creativity, and a commitment to inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student independence and confidence.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and other staff to ensure students receive holistic support.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies, including visual and sensory approaches, to enhance learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
  • Promote students' personal and social development through structured activities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential).
  • A strong understanding of autism and moderate learning difficulties.
  • A flexible, creative, and adaptable teaching style.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
