We are partnering with a reputable name in Tax and Accounting and business advisory services in Liverpool to recruit a Tax Assistant for their Private Client team. This firm is successful and growing with a great reputation locally and nationally with an office presence in Liverpool City Centre.
Your new role The role of the Tax Assistant within the private client team is a chance to gain study support from the CTA or ATT and continue your career in personal tax and trust work. Some key tasks include:Dealing with tax compliance matters for personal and trust tax clients.
Assisting in the preparation of forms P11D and PAYE settlement agreementsDealing with tax compliance matters for personal and trust tax clients.
Assisting the tax managers and directors with ad hoc compliance and advisory work where required.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful Tax Assistant for private clients will be motivated and ambitious to continue their career in private and trust taxation with the following skills:Excellent communication skills- Strong numeracy and communication skills
- Appetite to learn and motivated
- Keen to develop and share technical knowledge with colleagues
- Strong time management and personal organisation skills
- Strong IT skills, including use of tax software and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams
