Strategic Campaigns Manager, EU Category Marketing
To develop our vision and deliver our ambitious growth plans, we are looking to hire a Marketing Manager for EU strategic category campaigns.
Job Description:
As a Marketing Manager on the EU Category Marketing team, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy to use our traffic channels to drive customers to relevant brands and programs. You will play a key role in managing and expanding the Strategic Activations program across EU Product Families, which is responsible for planning and executing high-impact marketing initiatives across various channels and product categories.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Activations and Campaign Management:
- Manage and lead the Strategic Activations team, providing guidance and support to team members
- Oversee the intake process for marketing requests from Retail, 3P, and other teams across all EU Stores categories
- Develop and execute marketing plans for branded activations, seasonal programs, and feature launches
- Implement marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and sales across Amazon's managed channels
- Lead collaboration efforts with Content & Design, Channel, and Business teams to ensure effective campaign delivery and measurement
- Coordinate with the Content & Design team to develop compelling content and creatives for marketing campaigns
- Assist in managing campaign budgets and optimizing marketing spend across categories
Performance Analysis and Optimization:
- Monitor campaign performance across categories and channels, analyze results, and drive continuous improvement efforts
- Track key performance metrics and prepare comprehensive reports for business teams
- Prepare and deliver regular reports to business teams on marketing performance, prioritization decisions, and strategic insights
- Spearhead the expansion of the Strategic Activations program to additional product categories and marketplaces
Stakeholder Management and Collaboration:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Retail, 3P, and other internal teams
- Communicate campaign plans, prioritization decisions, and results to various internal stakeholders
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to support the integration of marketing initiatives
- Foster close collaboration with the US team to learn and share best practices, ensuring alignment and leveraging global insights
- Set guardrails for prioritization and maintain visibility across channels
- Optimize marketing strategies based on performance data, learnings, and business feedback
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Experience in audience segmentation and targeting- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
- Knowledge of project management tools
