Job Summary
Reporting to the Stores Supervisor the role of the Stores Person (Inventory Control) is to support the day-to-day operation of the Stores function.We are looking for a naturally organised and confident communicator who enjoys working with people.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Accurately book out all items issued as floor stock and maintain the traceability log
- Carry out PI cycle checks, logging and resolving all discrepancies
- Manage consumable inventory
- Identify old stock - allocate it appropriately
- Monitor and review Kanban stock levels
- Control of the Non-Conformance Process
- Goods in – checking and booking in receipts and associated document process
- Picking and issuing kits of parts for production
- Goods out – booking out, packing and shipping both Buy to Sell and Systems orders
Skills Required for role:
- Excellent organisational skills able to multi-task
- Methodical and accurate good attention to detail
- Good team worker
- Self-reliant - working with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to work under pressure to deadlines.
- Good I.T skills
- Pack and dispatch items up to 25kg in weight for shipment.
