Job Opportunity: EYFS/KS1 Trained Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking EYFS/KS1 trained Teaching Assistant to support our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) unit in a school in Workington. Several children in our EYFS unit require additional support, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and provide the care and assistance they need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the learning and development of children in the EYFS unit
• Assisting with the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for children requiring additional support
• Encouraging positive social interactions and fostering a nurturing learning environment
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff to deliver a comprehensive educational experience
• Monitoring and documenting children's progress and development

Qualifications and Experience:

• EYFS training and relevant qualifications
• Experience working with young children, particularly those aged 2, 3, and Reception
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to supporting children's growth and development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
