Research Communications Manager
Role Overview:
The Talent Set is thrilled to be working with a health charity as they search for a Research Communications Manager to support them for a 12-month FTC.
As the Research Communications Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the charity’s reputation as a leader in research. You will effectively communicate research findings to both internal and external audiences, maximising the impact of our research programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement research communications strategy.
- Collaborate with researchers to identify communication opportunities.
- Translate complex research into accessible content for various audiences.
- Create engaging content for publications, website, social media, and other channels.
- Manage research centre visits and external stakeholder engagement.
- Contribute to charity’s annual organisational impact report.
- Ensure effective communication between research teams and other departments.
Person Specification:
- Experience in science or health communications.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear and engaging content.
- Strong relationship-building skills.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
