Are you a skilled Childcare Paralegal looking to work for multi-site law firm with a reputable childcare team? This team covers a large area, offering clients sensitive and expert guidance on care orders, adoption, emergency applications, and other child-related legal matters.
The Role: As a childcare paralegal you will support the solicitors in managing a varied caseload, representing a diverse range of clients, including:
- Parents, Children, and Guardians
- The Official Solicitor
- Government agencies (such as CAFCASS)
- Carers of children
The Team:
The team prides itself on delivering the best outcomes for its clients and providing clear, compassionate, and effective legal advice. Four members of the team are Children Panel-accredited, allowing them to represent children directly in care proceedings, often attending court for complex cases.
Key Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years’ experience in public childcare law
- IT proficiency and familiarity with case management systems
- Have high energy
- Be a self-motivated individual with a positive, entrepreneurial spirit
- Demonstrate tenacity and a creative approach to achieving goals
- Have excellent attention to detail and client care skills
