Our client is a highly respected regulatory body in the public sector.
Job Description- Lead on all aspects of the annual budgeting process, financial business planning, spend review and in year budget review.
- Creation of models on expenditure and costing options for future areas of work
- Provide insightful analysis to support effective decision making.
- Management of planning process and the strategic outcomes.
- Develop and implement robust financial plans in line with strategic objectives.
- Monitor and report on financial performance against plan.
- Identify and implement process improvements in budgeting and planning.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Budget and Planning Manager should have:
- Strong FP&A background
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Experience of running budgeting or spending round reviews
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make complex financial decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-finance staff.
- Experience of turning complex data into compelling insights
- Ability to create excel models
- Background of internal and external stakeholder management skills
- £400 - £480 a day umbrella
- 6 month hybrid role
