The role involves the initial contact with amputees and their relatives/carers who attend the regional prosthetic rehabilitation department at Queen Mary's Hospital, and to book and manage all the appointments for the Vitali clinic which is the outpatient clinic for this regional prosthetic service
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities with include:
- Greeting patients and coordinating the smooth running of the Vitali clinic
- Answering telephones and managing patient queries
- Arranging appointments, preparing electronic medical records for clinics,
- Arranging and managing transport requests and booking interpreters for patients
- Working in a small team with flexibility and able to manage change and challenges

Qualifications
Essential criteria- Good standard of general education (e.g. GCSE Maths and English)
Experience
Essential criteria- Working with the public in a face to face capacity
- Experience of dealing with the public by phone
- Experience of working with a team
- Previous experience working within hospital setting
- Knowledge of iclp system
- Experience of working with a multi-disciplinary team.

Essential criteria- Good organisational skills

Knowledge
