We are currently recruiting a Operator for our client based in Cardiff.

If you have experience of working in manufacturing environment and are ready to take on a new challenge, this could be the perfect role for you!

As a Operator you will play a vital role in the production process.

You will be responsible for using battery powered tools to cut bar and ensuring the machine runs smoothly.

Additionally, you will assist skilled operators in tasks such as sampling rebar and removing coils from the running line. Safety is a top priority, so you will need to follow all safety instructions and work in a proactive and safe manner.

Hours & Pay:

This is a full-time position, with working hours from Monday to Thursday.

You will be working 10-hour days from 4:30am to 2:30pm, allowing for a long weekend to enjoy your free time.

The pay rate for this role is £11.97 per hour.

In addition to joining a leading company, our client's office is conveniently located just a few minutes walk from a train station. This means you can easily commute to work without the need for driving.

Requirements:

Applicants must have a valid UK Driving Licence, this is a client requirement to be able to train on the fork truck.

Own transport is not required, but applicants must be able to reach the site CF24 5NN, by shift start 4.30am.

All new starters will be required to complete a Criminal record check and medical assessment prior to starting which will inlcude a drug and alcohol test .
