Decision Analysis Services Limited (DAS) is an independent professional services company. Since 2007 we have provided services globally to more than 200 client organisations within the energy, defence, government, transport, and health sectors.

Based in offices from Glasgow to Sydney, we support clients across five continents.

We specialise in bridging the gap between strategic planning and operational execution, developing enduring solutions to the uniquely complex issues faced by our clients. We are experts in programme management, systems thinking, investment modelling, machine learning, and data analysis.

These unique skills, coupled with our extensive experience of engineering, regulatory practices and operations delivery enable us to develop sustainable, long-term solutions for our clients.

The Role

As a Senior Consultant in our Digital Consulting Practice, you’ll help shape and deliver complex transformation programmes across Defence and wider government. Working at the crossroads of technology, strategy, and delivery, you’ll support the adoption of digital capabilities in our clients’ mission critical environments, collaborating closely with stakeholders to drive meaningful change.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships across technical, operational, and senior leadership levels to support digital transformation
  • Capability Integration Leadership: Coordinate multi-disciplinary working groups, enabling effective integration of people, processes, and technology within secure, high-stakes environments
  • Translation & Advisory: Act as a bridge between technical delivery teams and user communities, translating complex ideas into practical, mission-driven outcomes
  • Market Insight & Growth Enablement: Contribute to pipeline growth by identifying new opportunities, shaping client propositions, and supporting bids with insight and credibility
  • Programme Delivery Influence: Support delivery of high-impact programmes by aligning delivery frameworks, guiding change implementation, and driving results on the ground

Apply to DAS if you want to work on varied, complex projects within a business that values your development, where no two days are alike, and where you’ll have a tangible impact on critical infrastructure in the UK.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a blend of digital awareness, delivery experience, and Defence sector insight. You’ll be comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing senior stakeholders, and operating with integrity in secure and complex environments.

We’re looking for candidates with:

  • Sector & Cultural Awareness: Strong understanding of Defence environments, DLODs, and the dynamics of technology adoption in traditionally change-resistant cultures
  • Digital Fluency & Integration Mindset: Broad knowledge of ICT and digital solutions with the ability to engage across both deep technical and strategic user domains
  • Consulting & Commercial Acumen: Experience in a consulting environment with strong commercial awareness and the ability to shape and support client-facing initiatives
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Proven ability to influence, advise, and communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders - from senior leaders to delivery teams
  • Education & Experience: A STEM degree is preferred, with 3 - 5 years' experience in delivering technical or change-focused programmes; Defence or government background desirable
Don’t meet all the job requirements, but like the sound of us and the projects we work on? Get in touch anyway – we are always keen to hear from talented, solutions-led individuals at all career stages and might have the perfect role for you.

We are also keen to hear from military veterans who may not tick all the boxes but have strong experience from a technical or intelligence related field.
