My client has a nationwide presence with one of their larger offices located in Solihull
Job Description- Preparation of the statutory accounts
- Liaising with the auditors
- Driving the year end
- Creation of the financial statements
- Consolidation of the group accounts
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Perform financial analysis and forecasting.
- Assist with audits and taxes.
- Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to the company's managers and executives.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Group Financial Accountant should have:
- Qualified accountant
- Strong technical finance skills
- Previous consolidation experience and exposure to FRS 101 and 102
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Advanced understanding of financial principles and regulations.
- Six month interim role
- £350 - 450 a day
