Location: Smethwick Salary: £28,000-£30,000 per annumJob Type: Full time/Permanent I'm delighted to be partnering with our well established client in Smethwick, to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the processing of invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end and year-end reporting.Prepare and process expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial queries.Support the finance team in payroll administration and VAT returns.Assist with ad hoc financial tasks as required.
Skills & Requirements:
Previous experience in a finance or accounts role is preferred. Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in accounting software (e., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
