Our Main Reception is based in the beautifully restored Old Hall on the Estate, and we are now seeking a part-time Receptionist to join our team, someone who will leave a lasting first impression on our guests upon arrival, ensure they have a memorable stay whilst with us and give a heartfelt goodbye upon departure.
Our Receptionist will:
- Welcome and check-in guests into our 66-bedroom hotel & 49 lodges
- Have a pro-active approach to guest requests and requirements by ensuring all guest specifics are profiled and actioned where possible
- Ensure guests accounts are accurate and that they are presented with a clear and correct invoice at the end of their visit
- Ensure that telephones are answered within a timely manner and that interactions are suitable as laid out in standard operating procedures
- Undertake general reception administration and support
Our ideal Receptionist will ideally have:
- Previous experience within hospitality Reception
- Experience of Reception systems, ideally Guestline and Reslynx although training will be provided
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Responsible approach for guests' enquiries and challenges
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiasm for learning and development.
- High personal standards

- £12.00 per hour, paid monthly
- Shifts will be 4 out of 7 days Monday to Sunday inclusive and consist of 8.5 hours, (half an hour for lunch) straight shifts equating to 32 working hours per week; shifts will include bank holidays and weekends, so flexibility is required
