Your new job working as a Senior Commercial Account Handler will be working for will be working for an Independent Lloyd’s Broker within their office in Horsham. They employ over 200 staff from five offices around the UK. They have grown rapidly in the last 20 years to become one of the top independent brokers in the UK, dealing with over 16,000+ clients.Having completed numerous successful acquisitions, the company has secured further funding to continue its ambitious growth plans. Due to growth within their Horsham Commercial division, a permanent place for a Senior Commercial Account Handler has arisen.
Your new role
Your new role working as a Senior Commercial Account handler means you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive insurance service to existing and potential new clients, which includes providing quotations on all types of Commercial Insurance, whether it be face to face or via the telephone.Other duties will include placing cover when needed, handling the renewals and dealing with midterm adjustments. This position involves end-to-end management of your own clients and working alongside the Account Executives to meet client needs and drive business growth.
What you will need to succeed
Your previous experience working as a Commercial Account Handler will contribute to the success in securing this role. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 5 years' experience.In commercial insurance within the following classes of insurance; construction, property, casualty, motor and professional liability, ideally within a broker. You will have a good understanding of the insurance market and insurance to talk directly to clients with confidence.
You will also be able to effectively plan, organise and manage your time efficiently, as well as have excellent communication skills.
