Teacher/ Instructor of Humanities plus negotiable TLR

South Lincolnshire Academies Trust (SLAT) has an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and dynamic Teacher / Instructor of Humanities at Spalding Academy on a full or part time basis. The successful candidate will teach across the age range, including examination groups.

This is an exciting opportunity for an Instructor, ECT or experienced teacher to join a thriving and highly motivated Trust (all our ECTs are well supported by an excellent induction programme). The successful candidate will have:

• Qualified teacher status or a willingness to work towards this;
• The ability to teach Humanities at KS3;
• The opportunity to teach at KS4;
• A willingness to teach across all humanities (History, RE, Geography);
• Specialism in one area would be an advantage whilst contributing to the wider Humanities curriculum;
• The ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results;
• Excellent organisational and ICT skills;
• Outstanding career progression opportunities;
• An awareness of effective assessment and use of data to track student progress;
• The capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team;
• A passion for the subject and the ability to share this with young people.
