An exciting opportunity for a band 6 senior Physiotherapist to support us over the winter months to reduce the winter pressures and work in the Olympic Lodge at Stoke Mandeville Hospital for a fixed term of 5 months has arisen.

Olympic Lodge is a 22 bedded unit for those patients that are MFFD and don't need to be in an acute bed and awaiting discharge. Patients are admitted with a wide variety of conditions. The multi-disciplinary team work closely together with social services and other external agencies for a safe and effective planned discharge for each patient.

Service development and supervision are supported by Advanced Physiotherapists for Physiotherapy.

To perform assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs, and to provide advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non professionals.
To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.

To participate in continuing professional and service development and contribute to organisational objectives
