Teacher of Design and Technology (Food preparation and Nutrition)
Many students have won local and national awards for their contributions to society.
We are keen to appoint a teacher of Design and Technology with an interest and ability to teach Food Technology to KS3 and Food preparation and Nutrition to KS4 students to join our successful, supportive and forward-looking department. Candidates can be experienced or newly qualified, but the successful candidate will be a motivated and dynamic colleague, with a passion for raising standards and attainment.

We are seeking someone with:
- A passion for teaching and learning and a sound subject knowledge, that can be utilised to challenge all students.
- The ability to motivate, inspire and stimulate curiosity, interest and enjoyment of Food Preparation and Nutrition in students.
- The ability to be a/or becomes an excellent classroom practitioner with creative teaching skills and a professional approach.
- Ability to teach D&T/ or/and Textiles at KS3 will be welcomed.
- High expectations of students in terms of learning, achievement and behaviour.
- The determination to raise student achievement.
- Good team skills.
