Location: Hybrid working, Reading, West Berkshire
AWE have launched a programme focussed on the improved delivery of both estate management operations and facilities services across the UK building portfolio. The programme workstreams define service improvement initiatives for the benefit of occupiers across both the existing and new build estate.
These procurement roles are aligned to two separate new buildings that will be occupied across the campus within the next three years.
We have a full timetable to capture hard and soft facilities management business service requirements, translate into technical and functional specifications and engage the marketplace under the Public Procurement Regulations.
AWE Commercial is a professional business support function that partners with internal customers to deliver supply chain, commercial, procurement and contract management services.
Minimum Requirement:
Procurement professional who has project management skills as is part of a large transformation programme.Initially supporting customer in development of “statement of need” for portfolio of FM services
Hard (engineering) & soft facilities management category specialism.
Public sector procurement experience as requirement to build tender suite of documents and recommend routes to market
Able to demonstrate an ability to support internal customers in development of statement of needs, Undertake market engagement and building the RFP (tender suite).This will broadly divide into a HardFM (engineering) specialism and SoftFM (cleaning, catering, security etc) specialism.
