Hays are recruiting for a Public Sector Organisation to recruit for administrative support to include reception duties. This is a temporary position for 2 months based in East Belfast.

Your new role

This role is perfect for a highly organised and personable individual who will provide administrative support. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the admin office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for all visitors, and enquiries
  • Provide administrative support to the department
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (phone, email, post)
  • Maintain records
  • Support the organisation of events and communications
  • Liaise with other internal teams as required.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

What you'll need to succeed

Essential:

  • Proven administrative experience, ideally in an educational or customer-facing setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • High level of accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and remain calm under pressure
  • Friendly, approachable and professional manner

Desirable:

  • Experience working in an educational environment
  • Current Enhanced Access NI clearance or willingness to undergo
