Role: Practitioner Psychologist Clinical, Forensic, Counselling, EducationalSalary: Up to £63,000 dependent on experience
Location: Hybrid – Travel to service within Nottingham required
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with some flexibility
Travel: Up to 90 minutes within the assigned region. A full UK driving licence is required.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist psychological input to teams in the designated region.Develop knowledge of the clinical model and promote therapeutic practice.
Oversee assessments, formulations, and therapeutic plans for young people.
Deliver psychological interventions using various methods and tools.
Offer psychological guidance to carers, teachers, and other professionals.
Conduct risk assessments and provide advice on risk management.
Deliver training on therapeutic approaches and applied psychology.
Supervise Assistant Psychologists and Therapists within the team.
Contribute to the development of clinical services and operational policies.
Stay informed about research and evidence-based practices to support ongoing service improvement.
Essential Criteria
Degree in Clinical, Forensic, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council HCPC.
Knowledge of the impact of developmental trauma and adverse childhood experiences.
