The Role
We are seeking a Manager who will oversee the day to day operations of a medium sized children’s home. The successful candidate will continue the outstanding work done previously and be passionate about the quality of care and support to the young people. Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring the policies and procedures are regularly monitoredCurrent legislation in relation to CYP is followed and adhered
Overall Budget Responsibility for the home is kept
Liaising accordingly with the regional manager where necessary
Creating a caring and empathetic environment
Pre-Requisites
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
(This may be a recognised Social Work qualification and a qualification in management to at least a Level 4)
Applicants who already hold a Registered Managers Award (RMA) or Level 4 Leadership and Management for Care Sector (LMCS) will be accepted.
Driving Licence with Car preferable
