About the Role
As Store Manager, you’ll take ownership of every aspect of the store’s success:
- Drive sales: Contribute to and meet sales targets by building strong customer relationships and showcasing the value of our products.
- Lead the team: Inspire, develop, and motivate a team of retail heroes to deliver amazing service that turns customers into lifelong fans.
- Create an unforgettable retail experience: Combine expert product knowledge with a personal touch to make every visit memorable.
- Grow the business: Develop creative strategies along with the wider retail team to increase footfall, customer engagement, and revenue while staying aligned with Alpkit’s values.
What we’re looking for
We’re seeking a driven leader who loves both the outdoors and the buzz of retail. Our ideal candidate has:
- A love of the outdoors, especially gear and activities
- A track record of achieving sales targets and growing revenue.
- A passion for making a positive impact through your work
- Take pride in offering great service and love being on shop floor
- Motivation to get things done
- Entrepreneurial & work with the team to build something a bit different & special (you’ve been to one of stores, so you know what we mean!)
- You’re a people person; making people passionate about our gear and the outdoors describes you down to a Tee!
- Proven experience of successfully managing and developing teams
- Alignment with Alpkit’s values, including a commitment to sustainability and community.
