Marketing & Communications Specialist

We Can Talk is seeking an experienced freelance marketing and communications specialist to help us launch a new offer to both current and potential NHS acute trusts. This role involves working on several key projects, with the flexibility to work remotely and the opportunity for in-person collaboration at our office base in Kent or London.
As part of the role, you will work closely with our nurse-led team, made up of current and former NHS staff, to deliver clear and accessible communication materials that will engage NHS decision-makers and frontline influencers. Your work will play a vital role in promoting our new offer and ensuring its successful rollout across NHS trusts.
Main Responsibilities: Website Landing Page Update: Redesign and update the main landing page to reflect our new offer. Youll craft clear, engaging copy that speaks to both decision-makers and frontline staff, ensuring the new messaging is compelling and aligned with our brand.
Marketing Materials for Decision-Makers: Develop a concise 1-2 page summary document and a 10-slide presentation deck aimed at NHS decision-makers, including Chief Nurses and COOs. These materials will highlight the key benefits of our offer and help facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders.
Marketing Materials for Influencers: Adapt the decision-maker materials for senior leaders and frontline influencers, creating supporting materials such as an email template and additional slides to help them advocate for the service within their teams.
Email Campaign for Existing Subscribers: Create and manage a targeted Mailchimp email campaign for our 30,000 existing subscribers. This campaign will introduce them to the new offer, encourage engagement, and include an accompanying FAQs document to address any questions or concerns.
