Do you have strong academic subject knowledge and experience providing Mental Health Support for young people?
We are looking for Mental Health Support Assistants with the right mentality to guide and inspire students at our partner schools in Lewisham!
Mental Health Support Assistant | Job Summary- Mental Health Support Assistant Role.
- Supporting students academically and pastorally in an Outstanding School
- Perform behavioural observations and provide valuable information for student EHCPs
- Gain valuable experience and make connections with Mental Health Professionals
- Working both on a 1:1 and small group basis to build relationships and develop communication skills
- Role starting immediately until July 2025 (opportunities to stay on after this are available)
- Full Time role Monday – Friday
- £480 - £520 per week
The ideal candidate will have:
- A 2:1 or higher in a related field from a leading UK University
- A solid academic record dating back to GCSE
- Prior experience working with children in an academic setting
- Some extra-curricular hobbies that can be integrated into school life: music, languages, sport (not essential!)
