Legal Cashier - Farnborough - Permanent Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
About the Role:We are looking for a skilled Legal Cashier to join our busy Accounts department. This role is essential to the smooth financial operation of the firm, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules and supporting both the accounts team and legal fee earners.

Client Account Management:
- Maintain and reconcile client and office accounts
- Process client payments including cheques, electronic transfers, and card payments
- Ensure all transactions comply with SRA Accounts Rules
- Monitor and allocate daily bank transactions
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Carry out banking duties including deposits and withdrawals
- Process supplier invoices and prepare payment runs
- Manage petty cash and expense claims
- Generate financial reports including cash flow and balance sheets
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and legal requirements
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
- Respond to account queries from fee earners and support staff
- Offer financial guidance as needed across the firm
- Prior experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar role
- Sound understanding of SRA Accounts Rules and legal financial compliance
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., LEAP, Xero) and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
