To train Levels 1 and 2 staff and to build the capacity of smoking cessation services in the Stockton area through partnership work with a broad range of partner agencies including statutory and voluntary agencies and hard to reach communities.
Provide shadowing opportunities and competency assessments to smoking cessation providers. Develop resources and implementation tools and offer mentoring assistance to local practitioners to enable them to confidently deliver effective interventions.
Able to travel between community venues Provide behavioural change support and treatment to hard to reach smokers in group settings, one to ones and home visits. Develop care pathways and facilitate access to stop smoking services through working with identified health champions from black, minority and ethnic communities (BME clients).
