We are excited to offer a Senior Assistant Psychologist (Band 5), Part-time (15 hours) post within our Integrated Community Care and Recovery (ICCR) Services based at Small Heath Health Centre covering Riverside and Small Heath CMHTs. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

This is a Band 5, Senior Assistant Psychologist Post, but we would welcome applications from anybody on aPre-Registered Professional Training in Applied Psychology studying for a Professional Doctorate in Counselling, Health or Forensic Psychology.

The post holders will have the opportunity to work closely with Psychological Services and MDT colleagues with service users who have complex interpersonal and emotional difficulties. This includes presentations of depression, anxiety disorders, ptsd, trauma, personality disorder diagnoses, psychosis, and dual diagnoses.

The successful applicant will have excellent opportunities to develop skills in clinical assessment, formulation, consultation, and intervention. Clinical supervision will be provided.

Experience of delivering psychological interventions with a wide range of presenting problems is desirable as well any postgraduate training in psychological interventions.

This post will be based at our East community hub in Small Heath. Small Heath Health Centre is accessible via public transport. There is a large staff car park on site and lots of local amenities.
