Internal Recruiter

As an Internal Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening to interviews and job offers. You’ll work closely with hiring managers to fill technical roles, including Surveyors and Engineers, ensuring timely hiring and a seamless candidate experience.

This role plays a key part in building our talent pipeline and strengthening our employer brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies for both junior and senior roles.
  • Write and post job ads, screen applications, and conduct interviews.
  • Build and maintain a talent database using our Applicant Tracking System (Workable).
  • Manage relationships with external recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Participate in career fairs and university events to boost employer branding.
  • Provide a positive and candidate-focused recruitment experience.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in recruitment (internal or agency).
  • Knowledge of end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Proficiency in using ATS systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to source both passive and active candidates.
  • Experience in technical recruitment, especially in the engineering/surveying sector (desirable).

Qualifications:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Minimum two A-levels (Grade C or above) and seven GCSEs, including Maths & English.
  • A recruitment qualification or diploma in HR or Business Administration (desirable).
  • Clean UK driving license and ability to commute to our Ipswich office. Hybrid working can be accommodated.
