Graduate Assistant Sports Coach

The Hawthorns School is a thriving Nursery and prep day School for Children between the ages of 6 months and 13 years. Located on an idyllic 35-acre estate in Bletchingley, Surrey, our mission is to prepare each child for life and to inspire a love of learning.

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate university graduate, undergraduate, or qualified sports coach, keen to inspire children and develop their own skills, to join our dynamic team.

Throughout the placement, the successful candidate will be based in the Games department and will support the delivery of Games and PE lessons, swimming provision, school fixtures, and after-school sports activities.

A good knowledge of a range of sports would be desirable. Our curriculum sports are Football, Hockey, Rugby, Netball and Cricket.

This is a fixed-term position with a Monday to Friday schedule, term-time/all year round with occasional weekend commitments. The role would suit those looking for a placement year during a sports-related course or a sports graduate considering a career as a primary or secondary PE teacher.
