Role Description

The Engagement Manager will serve as primary contact for temporary resourcing requests from clients, from request intake and scoping through fulfilment to successful completion of assignments. Duties will include working as part of Cognia's Flex Resourcing team to understand our clients’ requirements and identify suitable talent to satisfy demand in defined legal practice areas.

This role will also support the BD team with market intelligence relating to flexible resourcing and up-to-date pricing information. This includes identifying potential resourcing opportunities, contributing to RFP submissions, and drafting thought leadership content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client service and management of third-party vendors;
  • Interview scheduling and preparation;
  • Candidate briefing and post-placement support, including engagement and retention initiatives for Cognia’s Flex community
  • Proactively managing compliance (risks, issues and changes) and overseeing due diligence;
  • Internal and external reporting, and
  • Management of ongoing assignments, including provision of feedback and troubleshooting as required.
Requirements
  • A tertiary-level qualification (BA/BS)
  • A very strong command of the English language (written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport as well as persuade, influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • 2+ years’ experience as a customer facing relationship manager, ideally in legal services, financial services or professional services sector
  • Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills
  • An excellent phone manner with objection handling skills
