Social Worker - Child Protection Team, Camden
Salary: Up to £50,706 per annum + Zone 1 & 2 travel allowance (£1,628) + Social Work England fee reimbursement

Role Responsibilities:
- Hold and manage a complex caseload of child protection cases, ensuring children are safeguarded and their needs are met.
- Undertake investigations, risk assessments, and Section 47 enquiries.
- Develop and implement child protection plans and review their effectiveness regularly.
- Prepare detailed court reports and give evidence in family court proceedings as required.
- Work collaboratively with families, ensuring their voices are heard and included in care plans.
- Liaise effectively with multi-agency partners to provide a holistic approach to safeguarding.
- Ensure compliance with statutory guidelines, policies, and procedures.
About You:
- Qualified Social Worker with a degree, diploma, or equivalent in Social Work.
- A minimum of 2 years of post-qualifying experience in child protection.
- In-depth knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and related legislation.
- Experience in undertaking Section 47 enquiries, child protection planning, and court work.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to work with families and professionals.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Manageable caseloads and systemic practice supported by the Tavistock.
- Regular individual supervision and reflective group supervision.
