About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Birmingham. This rewarding role involves working with individuals who have Emotional Behavioural Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and Challenging Behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and support tailored to the needs of each individual.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks.
Develop and implement effective strategies to manage challenging behaviours.
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all residents.
Monitor and report on the progress and well-being of individuals in your care.
Collaborate with a team of professionals to create personalised care plans.
Qualifications and Experience
A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare is desirable but not essential.
Experience working with individuals with Emotional Behavioural Disorders or Learning Disabilities is beneficial.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to support work.
Working Hours
Shift patterns are from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM with sleep-in duties as required.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is necessary.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 per hour.
Additional compensation of £70 for sleep-in duties.
