Geography and RE Teacher (2 days per week)
What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you an ambitious, creative teacher with a passion for improving educational outcomes for students in inner city Birmingham?
Do you have the commitment and positivity to contribute to Broadway’s values-driven ethos, the drive to promote high expectations for students and the ability to teach Geography and RE at KS3 and KS4 with the prospect of teaching KS5?
The Role
We are looking for a Geography and RE teacher who:
- Has excellent subject knowledge in Geography and Religious Education
- Can teach Geography and RE at KS3 and KS4
- Is an enthusiastic teacher who engages and motivates pupils to reach beyond their potential
- Plans and delivers lessons of an outstanding quality
- Will mark, feedback and report on assessments within RE Geography with a focus on improving students through success
- Will be willing to work with and contribute to the award-winning RE and Geography curriculums at Broadway
- Will actively contribute to department meetings and build strong relationships with others.
- Shows a love for both geography and RE and actively participates in continually developing subject and pedagogical knowledge

The Department
The Humanities Directorate is a supportive, dedicated and passionate department staffed by a small and cohesive team who work together to achieve excellent outcomes for students.
