A wonderful family based in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire is looking for a Full time Nanny-Housekeeper to look after their charming toddler and school-aged child as well as maintain their property. The nanny-housekeeper will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them.

A key responsibility includes cooking for the family and preparing batch meals for the week, with a strong preference for candidates knowledgeable in Indian cuisine.

Someone who could speak Hindi, Punjabi or Gujarati languages would be a bonus but English-speaking candidates would also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: 4 weekdays and a Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, approximately 40 hours per week

Duties include:

Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
Making beds and replacing linens as needed
Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher

They are looking for someone to start on the 10th of February 2025 and are happy to meet lovely candidates.
