Teaching Personnel is looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in RCT. This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people (ages 3-19) with Autism, ADHD, and complex learning needs.You’ll work closely with teachers and staff to create a nurturing, engaging, and structured learning environment.
Your Role:
✅ Provide one-to-one and small group support, tailored to each student’s needs.✅ Assist teachers in delivering engaging activities that promote learning and development.
✅ Encourage independence, confidence, and social interaction among students.
✅ Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where pupils can thrive.
✅ Adapt to the needs of students with communication and sensory challenges.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in SEN, education, or care settings (preferred but not essential).A passion for working with children and young people with additional learning needs.
Patience, empathy, and adaptability to support diverse needs.
Ability to work as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
